Central City Breakers

Welcome to the Central City Breakers official webpage. The club was formed in
1998 with just 2 teams but now boasts more than 30 boys and girls teams from
Under 10 up to Under 18. It is widely recognised as the strongest junnior
domestic club in the Hawthorn region. Why not become a breaker today!

The next series of basketball camps will be held over the term 1 school holidays. The first between 28th and 30th June
and the second between 7th and 9th July. Both of these 3-day camps will be held in Hawthorn for children between 5 and 9 years old and between 10 and 13 years old.

Congratulations to all Breakers teams who made the Winter 08 finals and to the teams who went all
the way and took out the Premiership for their section. We are starting up a photo gallery page on the website
so if any parents or friends have photos of the players taken during the finals, we would love to have them.

Breakers Basketball Club is always recruiting for the upcoming season. The Summer season runs
over Term 4 and Term 1 and the Winter season runs over Term 2 and 3. All training sessions are at Hawthorn Secondary College and conducted
by 15-year fulltime professional coach Mark Walker.
