Breakers Basketball Upcoming Season

Central City Breakers Basketball Club is always recruiting for the next upcoming season.
All training sessions are at Hawthorn Secondary College and conducted by 15-year fulltime professional
coach Mark Walker, along with other Breaker’s coaches.
All junior age groups are catered for and teams are limited to
8 players only with an equal court time policy during the regular season.
Summer Season - 4th Term - 1st Term
Winter Season - 2nd Term - 3rd Term
No games during Long Weekends or School Holidays.
Breakers currently have over 30 teams playing in the Hawthorn Basketball Competition with
trainings held during the week at Hawthorn Secondary College and games are
played on Saturday afternoon at various stadiums in the local area.
The advantages of a large club are that players can find a level that compliments
their ability or they can get a group of friends together and form new teams.
Our club has been running now for 8 years and has a solid reputation for
building competitive teams, with many winning grand finals.
To be eligible for an age group you must be under that particular age group
with the cut off date on the 31st of December. Example – a 12yo cannot play
under 12’s; an 16yo cannot play under 16’s etc, etc.
Remember players must be under their respective age group on or before the
31/12/2007.
